Firefly Pediatrics of Holland

Monthly fees at Firefly Pediatrics of Holland depend on your child's age. Infants from birth through age two pay $120 per month. Toddlers ages three to five pay $95 per month. Children six and older pay $80 per month. Families pay no more than $300 per month regardless of how many children they enroll. A one-time enrollment fee of $100 per family applies at sign-up. The practice also offers a discounted rate for families who pay annually.

Firefly Pediatrics of Holland does not participate in any insurance plans and does not bill insurance for membership services. The practice bills insurance directly for vaccines only. The practice recommends that all families carry at minimum a high-deductible insurance plan to cover specialty visits, labs, imaging, emergency care, and hospitalization. Patients on Medicaid may join, but Medicaid does not cover the monthly membership fee. HSA and FSA funds may cover membership fees, so check with your employer or accountant.

The membership covers all primary care needs, including well-child visits, developmental and behavioral screenings, vision and hearing screenings, sports physicals, and unlimited illness visits. It also includes management of asthma, ADHD, and obesity; in-office testing for flu, strep, urine, and hemoglobin; procedures such as sutures, staples, and wart removal; school, sports, camp, and FMLA forms; and care coordination with specialists. Newborn home visits for the first two months of life and telemedicine visits are also included. Members pay no copays and receive no surprise bills.

Yes. Membership includes unlimited phone, text, email, and video visits with Dr. Zink directly. There is no triage line or scripted after-hours service. The practice schedules urgent concerns for the same or next business day.

Firefly Pediatrics of Holland offers both. Telemedicine visits are included in the membership. Dr. Zink includes home visits for newborns during the first two months of life. She also offers house calls for older patients at her discretion.

Start by contacting the practice to set up a free meet-and-greet, where Dr. Zink answers your questions and confirms the practice is a good fit. To enroll, click the enroll button on the practice website, which creates a chart in the EMR system and a patient portal for your family. Complete a separate registration for each child you wish to enroll.

Membership requires a three-month minimum commitment. To cancel, you must provide a written 30-day notice. If you paid for the full year in advance, the practice reimburses you for unused months. If you choose to rejoin later, a $250 reactivation fee applies, and enrollment depends on available space.

Yes. Firefly Pediatrics of Holland offers medical ear piercing using the Blomdahl Medical Ear Piercing System, a tool available exclusively to healthcare professionals. The piercing uses single-use disposable cartridges, and the studs consist of medical-grade plastic or titanium to minimize allergy risk. The service costs $100 and is available for children six months of age and older.
