Dr. Wendy ZinkDO

Pediatrics

at Firefly Pediatrics of Holland — Holland, MI

About

Dr. Wendy Zink is a board-certified pediatrician and the founder of Firefly Pediatrics of Holland. She grew up in Metro Detroit and has called Holland home since 2006. Her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University's Lyman Briggs College earned her a BS in Physiology. She went on to earn her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her pediatric residency training took place at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, where she became a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics in 2004. She also holds membership in the American Osteopathic Association.

Dr. Zink brings particular clinical focus to ADHD management, asthma, obesity, newborn care, and behavioral and developmental pediatrics. She had her first child during residency, and that experience deepened her understanding of what parents face. She and her husband David, a gastroenterologist, now raise four children together. Outside the office she stays active as a soccer mom, figure skater, runner, and enthusiastic home cook. She believes guiding new parents and watching their confidence grow is one of the most rewarding parts of pediatric medicine.
