Dr. Christa MurphyMD

From an early age, Christa Murphy, M.D. knew that she wanted to be a doctor. She received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry with magna cum laude honors from Hope College. Dr. Murphy received her MD designation from Wayne State Medical School and completed her specialty training as a Family Physician at Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center. Dr. Murphy is board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians. She and her husband were the recipients of the prestigious Angels in Adoption Award by the US Congress for her work in promoting the adoption of children with HIV.
