Examined Life

Examined Life offers DPC membership starting at $176 per month. Three tiers are available: Essential, Longevity, and Confidence. Essential includes unlimited visits, same and next-day access, direct messaging with your physician, virtual and in-office visits, chronic disease management, annual physical, medication management, care coordination, and discounted labs. Longevity adds comprehensive longevity labs, VO2 max and metabolic testing, an InBody scan, a 60-minute annual physical therapy session, and a tailored nutrition and lifestyle plan. Confidence adds an annual treatment package with options like Botox four times per year or four Accufit sessions.

Examined Life operates on a flat monthly membership fee and does not bill insurance for primary care visits. The practice works well alongside a private insurance plan for specialist referrals, hospitalizations, and other needs. It also serves patients without traditional insurance. Note that federal regulations prevent the practice from billing Medicare for any cash-based service.

Prospective patients can request a meet-and-greet appointment through the Examined Life website. The panel is limited to 200 patients total across both physicians, so the practice encourages interested patients to reach out early.

Yes. Same and next-day appointments are a standard benefit of the DPC membership. Members also have direct text and phone access to their physician, along with after-hours communication for urgent needs.

Yes. Virtual visits are part of every membership tier. Members can connect with their physician by video or phone in addition to in-office appointments.

Yes. House calls are available as part of the Examined Life care model. This is particularly useful for patients with limited mobility or acute situations that make in-office visits difficult.

Examined Life covers a broad scope of primary care, including acute and chronic condition management, women's and men's health, osteopathic manipulation treatment, hormone replacement therapy, medical weight management with GLP-1 and peptides, advance directives preparation, and mental health referral discounts. Both physicians are trained in OMT and integrate hands-on osteopathic care into routine visits.

The Examined Life med spa offers Botox, Juvederm and Restylane dermal fillers, radiofrequency microneedling, IPL photofacial, laser skin resurfacing, CO2 fractional laser resurfacing, laser hair removal, Glo2Facial, VI Peel chemical peels, Accufit body contouring, XERF structural skin tightening, EmpowerRF women's wellness, and Keralase hair restoration. All aesthetic services take place in the same facility as primary care.

Yes. Examined Life accepts HSA and FSA funds for the medical weight management program. The practice also offers Cherry financing plans, which include true 0% APR options and interest-bearing plans with no hard credit checks.

Yes. Two in-house partner services operate within the Examined Life facility. MindfulHygiene provides preventive dental hygiene care with Amber Correra, RDH. The Bell Practice offers mental health therapy for individuals and families with Dr. Hayley Bell. Examined Life members receive 10% off services from both partners.
