Empowered Health

The Classic Membership at Empowered Health starts at $150 per month for an individual. A family of two pays $260 per month, a family of three pays $365 per month, and a family of four pays $445 per month. The Mom+Baby membership is $350 per month and includes specialized postpartum and newborn care with optional home visits. Financial assistance is available for those with demonstrated financial need.

The monthly membership covers all telephone, virtual, and in-office visits with no per-visit fees. Members also get same- or next-business-day sick visits, direct texting and secure messaging with Dr. White, and access to her direct phone number for urgent after-hours concerns. In-home visits and osteopathic manipulation carry a small additional fee.

Empowered Health does not bill insurance for membership fees or office visits. Patients can still use their insurance for prescriptions, specialist referrals, lab work, and imaging. Dr. White maintains a direct agreement with Quest Labs so members access cash-pay labs at significantly reduced prices, with a basic lab panel running approximately $20.

Starting January 1, 2026, members can use their HSA funds for their Empowered Health membership under recently passed legislation. Prior to that date, HSA use for direct primary care membership fees has been legally ambiguous. Dr. White encourages patients to consult their HSA administrator for current guidance.

Active patients at Empowered Health can schedule same- or next-business-day appointments for sick visits. New patient appointments typically schedule within two to four weeks. Follow-up appointments for established patients are usually available within one to two weeks.

Yes. Dr. White conducts virtual visits for members as part of the standard membership at no additional charge. She also offers same-business-day texting and secure messaging so members can reach her directly without navigating a phone tree.

The Mom+Baby membership is a specialized tier designed for new mothers and their infants during the first year of life. It includes holistic primary care for both mom and baby, optional home visits, monthly group sessions, and a curated list of professional referrals. Dr. White structures appointments so mom and baby can be seen together, reducing the logistics of managing two separate visits.

Yes. Empowered Health runs free annual workshop series for members, including the Empowering 2024 and Empowering 2025 series, covering well-being topics such as sleep optimization, polyvagal theory, and laughter yoga. Dr. White partners with local experts for these sessions, which take place virtually and in person throughout the year.

Dr. White accepts a small number of new patients each month. Prospective patients submit their information through the practice website to join the waitlist. Once availability opens, the practice reaches out to schedule a meet-and-greet. After that meeting, if both Dr. White and the patient agree it is a good fit, the initial patient appointment follows.

Yes. Dr. White provides access to wholesale supplement pricing for members through Fullscript. She also works with local imaging centers that offer cash pricing for x-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, keeping costs transparent and manageable for patients who need imaging outside of insurance.
