Dot's Place Direct Pediatrics

Membership fees at Dot's Place Direct Pediatrics depend on the child's age. Tiny Dots (ages 0-2) run $260 per month, Little Dots (ages 2-10) cost $210 per month, Teen Dots (ages 10-16) cost $160 per month, and Grad Dots (ages 16 through college) cost $110 per month. Families with multiple enrolled siblings pay a maximum of $500 per month. Fees start at the time of enrollment.

Dot's Place does not bill insurance for membership services or office visits. The practice charges no copays and sends no surprise bills. Vaccines follow AAP and CDC guidelines and do bill to the patient's insurance. The practice accepts HSA payments for membership fees.

Yes. Dot's Place recommends that all members maintain a health insurance plan. Hospitalizations, surgeries, emergency room visits, specialist care, prescription medications, and certain lab work or imaging all bill to the patient's insurance. Dr. Woerner's accessibility reduces the frequency of ER and urgent care visits, but coverage for those settings remains important.

Members reach Dr. Woerner directly by text, phone, or email at any hour, including weekends and holidays. She makes herself personally available 24/7 to all Dot's Place members. Virtual and in-person sick visits are both available depending on the child's condition.

Yes. Two house calls per year are included in every Dot's Place membership, for patients within a five-mile radius. Dr. Woerner can conduct both well-child and sick visits in the home. Non-members can also book a home visit for $200.

Appointments at Dot's Place average 60 minutes. The practice does not have a waiting room, so members experience little to no wait time. Longer appointments give Dr. Woerner the time to address questions thoroughly and track each child's health over time.

Yes. Dr. Woerner offers complimentary prenatal consultations as a 30-minute visit, either in person or virtually. These appointments give expectant families a chance to ask questions and learn about the practice's approach before their baby arrives.

Membership covers well-child visits, same or next-day sick visits, chronic care visits, procedure visits, school and sports physicals, camp physicals, rapid testing (flu, RSV, strep, COVID), nebulizer breathing treatments, laboratory collection, and two house calls per year. Prenatal and new patient consultations are complimentary 30-minute visits. Vaccines bill separately to insurance.

Yes. Dot's Place offers a la carte services for non-members. Same or next-day sick visits cost $150, school or sports physicals cost $200, medical grade ear piercing costs $145, and home visits cost $200.

Dot's Place does not charge a cancellation penalty. Membership ends 30 days from the date of written notice. The practice also notes that the membership agreement is not a health insurance contract and is not subject to regulation by the Texas Department of Insurance.
