Dockside Pediatrics

Dockside Pediatrics charges monthly membership fees that vary by age. Children under 2 cost $120 per month. Children ages 2 to 5 cost $80 per month. Children ages 6 to 18 cost $60 per month. Families pay a maximum of $220 per month regardless of how many children enroll. A one-time enrollment fee of $150 per family applies at the first visit.

Dockside Pediatrics does not participate in any insurance plan or Medicaid. The practice operates as an out-of-network provider. For vaccines, Dockside works with Vaxcare to bill most private insurance plans directly.

Yes. Members receive direct access to their physician's personal cell phone and email. Both Dr. Yandle and Dr. Cook make themselves available on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Yes. Dockside Pediatrics offers same-day appointments for sick visits. The small panel size makes this level of access consistently available to members.

Yes. The practice makes house calls within a 15-mile radius of the office. Newborns receive home visits from birth through their two-month well-child check. For children older than two months, the practice offers occasional home visits for an additional fee.

Yes. Dockside Pediatrics offers virtual visits for members. This gives families a convenient option for concerns that do not require an in-person exam.

Membership covers well-child visits, sick visits, school physicals, sports physicals, camp physicals, vaccination administration, and coordination of medical care. The practice also includes most basic in-office tests such as urinalysis and strep testing at no extra charge. In-office medication dispensing is also available.

Yes. Dockside Pediatrics added lactation services in February 2022. IBCLC Megan Guthmann provides this support for breastfeeding families.

Dockside Pediatrics limits its panel to around 500 patients. Most pediatric practices carry over 3,000 patients. The smaller panel allows both physicians to know each patient and family well.

Dockside Pediatrics currently enrolls newborns with a due date of October 1, 2026 or later, with enrollment completed prior to delivery. Families expecting a new baby should reach out to the practice directly to get on the schedule before their due date.
