Direct Care Pediatrics

The Full Membership runs $105 per month per child. It includes unlimited clinic visits, well-child checks, prescriptions, orders, and two pediatric dental cleanings with x-rays annually. Families who want text-only access can start at $25 per month billed annually, or $30 per month billed monthly for all kids. The All The Kids plan covers all children in the family for $300 per month. HSA and FSA payments are accepted.

Direct Care Pediatrics does not accept traditional insurance for visits or text services. Families can use insurance for prescriptions, imaging, and labs. The practice works with all healthshares and serves as an official Zion Healthshare affiliate. Many families find the membership or text plan costs them less overall.

Yes. Direct Care Pediatrics offers what it describes as Utah's first pediatrics text service. Parents on any plan can text Dr. Hubbard directly with non-emergency questions. Responses come from a real pediatrician during clinic hours, 8am to 5pm, within 24 hours of the message. A nurse assists with triage when Dr. Hubbard is unavailable.

Visits at Direct Care Pediatrics run 30 to 60 minutes. That is substantially longer than the 10 to 15 minutes typical of most pediatric offices. Longer visits allow Dr. Hubbard to address multiple concerns, answer questions thoroughly, and spend real time with each family.
