About

At Colorado Center for Medical Excellence, four physicians bring a combined 60-plus years of Internal Medicine and Family Medicine experience to concierge care in Denver. Dr. Cari Dawson and Dr. Alex Goldsmith built the practice around one conviction: the patient-doctor relationship deserves real time and attention. Dr. Chitra Peddada and Dr. Jonathan Zonca have since joined the team, rounding out a group with deep roots in Denver medicine and training at some of the country's top institutions.

The practice covers a wide clinical range, from chronic disease management and preventive care to advanced cardiovascular imaging and cancer screening. Patients age 50 and older receive coronary calcium scoring, carotid ultrasound, CIMT, thyroid ultrasound, and abdominal MRI at no additional cost. Every member gets an expanded laboratory panel, EKG, pulmonary function testing, cognitive testing, and InBody body composition analysis included. The practice also offers nutritionist consultations, physical therapy referrals, meditation workshops, nutrition webinars, and cooking classes. When hospitalization becomes necessary, the physicians provide direct care at Rose Hospital and phone consultation at outside facilities. CCME supports Project Angel Heart and holds membership in the Private Physicians Alliance.

Neither Medicare nor private insurance covers the annual membership fee. You do need to maintain health insurance to cover costs like specialty care, hospitalization, labs, and imaging. Most HSA plans allow members to use those funds toward the annual fee; check with your carrier to confirm.

Most HSAs allow members to apply those funds to the annual fee at CCME. The practice recommends checking with your HSA carrier to confirm eligibility before enrolling.

Your physician then creates an individualized, goal-oriented health plan based on those findings.

Patients age 50 and older receive coronary calcium scoring, carotid ultrasound and CIMT, thyroid ultrasound, and abdominal MRI at no additional cost. Younger patients can access these tests for a fee. Galleri cancer screening and coronary CTA with Cleerly carry an additional cost for all patients.
