Membership pricing varies by age. Children ages 3-10 and adults ages 19-49 pay $125 per month. Children ages 11-18 pay $100 per month. Children ages 0-2 and adults 50 and over pay $150 per month. Big Bend Family Medicine also offers family discounts, with a maximum family rate of $350 per month. The optional house call add-on costs an extra $30 per month per family.

The practice does not bill insurance for membership fees, and members never pay a copay. Your existing insurance still covers medications, diagnostic tests ordered outside the office, and hospitalizations, just as it would with any other physician. Each insurance plan differs, so checking with your carrier on specifics is a good idea.

Every membership includes unlimited in-office and telemedicine visits, in-office lab draws for routine bloodwork, hospital visits from Dr. Turner, and the ability to text him directly seven days a week. The practice charges no copays on any of these services.

You can enroll online through the practice's enrollment form on the website or by calling the office at 850-756-7770. Existing patients of Dr. Turner do not need to schedule a new establishing visit. The practice transfers records automatically, and any issues resolve with a simple phone call.

Members can use a Flexible Spending Account to pay membership fees. Health Savings Account funds do not qualify for membership fees, as the IRS does not classify them as a qualified medical expense under HSA rules.

Yes. Big Bend Family Medicine handles many routine visits, medication checks, and minor illnesses through phone or video consults. Dr. Turner can also send prescriptions to pharmacies anywhere in the country for members who are traveling.

Yes. Members who add the house call plan for $30 per month per family receive visits at their home or workplace. Dr. Turner covers Gadsden, Leon, Wakulla, and Jefferson counties for same-day or next-day visits. He also serves Jackson, Calhoun, Franklin, Madison, and Taylor counties with advance scheduling. Infants under one year old receive house call visits at no additional charge.

Big Bend Family Medicine makes same-day or next-day appointments the standard for its members. The practice also handles many questions and routine concerns through direct text or phone, so members often avoid a formal visit entirely.

Nurse Practitioner Joselyn Johnson covers the practice whenever Dr. Turner is on vacation or out sick. Members continue to receive care without interruption during those periods.

New members make an initial six-month commitment when they enroll. After those six months, the membership converts to a month-to-month auto-renewal that members can cancel at any time.
