Beginning January 1, 2026, the practice anticipates that HSA funds up to $150 per person per month will qualify toward the membership fee. Confirm eligibility with your accountant or plan administrator before applying HSA funds.

Yes. Dr. Betten offers telehealth visits for established patients through the electronic medical record system. Patients must complete an in-person visit at least once per year. New patients schedule their initial consultation in person.

The first appointment runs at least 90 minutes. Dr. Betten reviews your full health history, discusses your concerns, and builds an individualized care plan. Blood work is often ordered at this visit, with a follow-up scheduled to review results and discuss next steps.

The practice focuses on symptoms common to perimenopause and menopause, including hot flashes, weight gain, fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, irritability, palpitations, and low libido. Dr. Betten also addresses risk factors related to osteoporosis, dementia, heart disease, and breast health, as well as thyroid conditions including Hashimoto's thyroiditis.

Members access Dr. Betten through a 24/7 patient portal with responses within 24 hours, often sooner. For urgent concerns, members also receive Dr. Betten's cell phone number directly. This direct access is included in the monthly membership.

For routine primary care needs such as infections, acute illnesses, or screenings, patients continue working with their primary care provider. Dr. Betten remains available for guidance and consultation beyond hormone-related concerns.
