About

Taralyn Weiser, MD grew up in Wichita and built her career across several chapters of pediatric medicine. She earned a BS in Chemistry and a BA in Biology from Newman University before completing her medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City and Wichita. Her pediatric residency took place at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

After residency, Dr. Weiser practiced at Hays Pediatric Center in Hays, KS before returning to Wichita as a pediatric hospitalist with the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She earned multiple teaching awards during that time for her work with residents and medical students. She later joined Mid-Kansas Pediatrics and practiced there until 2019. Teaching remains a genuine passion for Dr. Weiser. She loves working with patients and families as much as she enjoys mentoring future physicians. Outside the clinic, she spends time with her orange cat Fred and pursues crafts including hand embroidery and journal making, with plans to one day sell her paper crafts at a craft fair.
