About
Sylvie-Karine Giroux, MD, FACC is a second-generation physician who earned her medical degree from Laval University in Quebec, Canada. During medical school she joined an international medical organization and spent several months practicing in Haiti, an experience that deepened her empathy and shaped her patient-centered approach. She completed a postgraduate program in cardiovascular pharmacology at Montreal University, including a year of research training at the Montreal Heart Institute Research Center.
