Dr. Ryan Shumon Rahman earned his medical degree from Tulane School of Medicine in 2012. He then served as an active duty US Air Force physician from July 2012 through April 2016. His residency in Family Medicine took place at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, where he earned board certification upon graduating. From 2018 to 2021, he served on the teaching faculty at the University of Tennessee, training medical students and residents and developing educational curricula.
Dr. Rahman brought nine years of obstetrical experience to his training before shifting his focus to longevity, integrative medicine, and metabolic health. He holds deep clinical interest in sports medicine, mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma, and the emerging science around aging as a treatable condition.
