Dr. Patel grew up in Southern California and completed her undergraduate studies at UCLA, majoring in Biology. She completed her Family Medicine residency at Glendale Adventist Medical Center in California, where she earned the title of Chief Resident and received the Resident of the Year award, as recognized by nursing and office staff. During residency, she provided free medical care at an annual community health camp in Corona, California, and completed international medical work in Ecuador. She also served as a Clinical Preceptor with the Glendale Adventist Family Medicine Residency for nearly a decade, teaching medical students and residents.
