About

Dr. Rajavi Shah co-founded Through Time Primary Care to build the kind of relationship-driven primary care she felt called to practice from an early age. S. in Biotechnology with a minor in Nutrition from Rutgers University, graduating on the Dean's List. She then earned her MD from Ross University School of Medicine in 2011, graduating with highest honors.

Dr. Shah completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Connecticut in a dedicated primary care program and went on to serve as Chief Resident, earning the Chief of the Year honor from the program in 2015. She later joined the faculty at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, teaching the next generation of physicians while practicing both outpatient and inpatient medicine. She received the Outstanding VA Attending of the Year award in 2017-2018 and a Houston Methodist Lifesaver Award during her time in the Friendswood community. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Shah now pursues additional certification in obesity medicine, lifestyle medicine, and menopause care. She has published on obesity complications and contributes evidence-based writing on topics including vaccine safety, cancer screening, and health misinformation. She cares for adults 18 and older. Outside the clinic, she coaches her kids' tennis, cooks, reads, and shares her home with a dog named Einstein.
