About
Dr. David Washington co-founded Through Time Primary Care after eight years serving the Greater Clear Lake Area as a primary care physician at Houston Methodist. He grew up in Toledo, Ohio, where he earned the Bishop's Cross Award at St. John's Jesuit High School for his commitment to service. He then studied Biology and Ethnomusicology at Brown University, graduating with honors, before earning his medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University with a scholarly focus in Medical Humanities exploring music as a source of healing and health care disparities.
Dr. Washington completed a combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency at Rhode Island Hospital, Hasbro Children's Hospital, and Women and Infants Hospital. He followed that with a two-year fellowship in Academic General Medicine and Pediatrics at Boston University and Boston Medical Center, where he taught medical students, conducted research, and practiced at a federally-qualified health center. He earned an MSc in Health Services Research and holds triple board certification in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Lifestyle Medicine. He serves as a Fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
