About
Dr. Nathan Ker, DO is a board-certified family physician with nearly 20 years of experience in Wyoming medicine. He spent most of his life in Wyoming and built much of his early career at Wyoming Medical Center, where he served as one of the original hospitalists. He eventually led the hospitalist program there as director, growing the team to 12 physicians. After a two-year period practicing in Colorado, he returned to Wyoming and served patients at Douglas County Memorial Hospital before founding RISE.
Dr. Ker co-founded RISE Direct Primary Care with his wife Emmi Ker, RN, to deliver affordable and personalized care to patients of all ages. He holds strong convictions about patient autonomy and the freedom to make individual healthcare decisions. Faith and family are central to how he approaches both his practice and his personal life. Outside the clinic, he enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and farm life with his family. He and Emmi have four children, including a young son, and they are honored to serve the Casper community together.
