Dr. Lonnie A. Teague brings an extraordinary range of experience to his family medicine practice in Casper, Wyoming. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas. S. Army's 20th Special Forces Group. In the late 1990s, he worked as a missionary in Honduras, where he ran a hospital. That experience set him on the path to medicine.

He completed the Wyoming Family Practice Residency in Casper, earning recognition as outstanding resident all three years and serving as Chief Resident in his final year. He then spent 14 years in Emergency Medicine, also serving as Medical Director for the SRT Natrona County Sheriff's Office starting in 2008. In 2022, he left the ER to found BackCountry Doctor DPC. His faith shapes his clinical mission; he and his team aim to treat the whole person, body, mind, and spirit. He and his wife Michelle have two daughters and recently welcomed their first grandchild. Outside the clinic, he enjoys camping, hunting, fishing, backpacking, and winter sports.
