Dr. Megan FasickM.D.

Dr. Fasick focuses on diabetes management, contraception counseling and management, prenatal counseling, postpartum and breastfeeding support, and advance care planning. She also provides full-scope family medicine, treating patients from newborns through older adults. Preventive care and stopping disease progression before it starts are central to her clinical approach.

Dr. Fasick is a board-eligible family medicine physician who completed her residency at the Self Regional Family Medicine Residency Program. She also completed a specialized obstetrics track during residency, which informs her prenatal counseling and support for new mothers.

Dr. Fasick earned her undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University and her medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She completed her family medicine residency at the Self Regional Family Medicine Residency Program, including a specialized track in obstetrics.

Dr. Fasick provides medication management, continuous glucose monitoring instruction and support, and ongoing education about how lifestyle affects blood sugar. She works with each patient to build a plan that fits their daily life. Whether a patient is newly diagnosed or has managed diabetes for years, she offers regular check-ins and adjusts treatment as needed.

Dr. Fasick provides prenatal counseling and education, but this does not replace necessary care from a licensed OB or midwife. She completed a specialized obstetrics track during residency and has two children of her own born via IVF. She helps patients understand their OB's recommendations, navigate decisions around labor and delivery, and manage postpartum questions including breastfeeding.

Dr. Fasick sees patients from birth through adolescence. Her pediatric services include in-home newborn visits, breastfeeding and lactation support, routine wellness visits, and sick visits with on-site testing. Families appreciate the ability to reach her directly for urgent questions between appointments.

Members contact Dr. Fasick directly by phone, text, email, or through the SigmaMD app. She responds personally, without routing calls through an answering service. Patients regularly reach her after hours and on weekends for time-sensitive questions.

Dr. Fasick takes an active role in helping patients afford their medications. She educates patients on copay assistance programs, patient assistance programs, savings programs, and tools like GoodRx. Cost transparency is a priority throughout the practice.
