Dr. Matt Bain grew up in Salem, Oregon, attending Salem Academy from grade school through high school. S. in Biology with a chemistry minor and graduating Magna Cum Laude. While at Baylor, he married his high school sweetheart, Lea. They have three children together.
Dr. Bain completed medical school at Oregon Health and Sciences University, graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning Alpha Omega Alpha honors. He then trained in Family Practice at Southwest Washington Medical Center, completing both his internship and residency there. He joined an Albany practice in 2001 and has delivered family medicine in the community ever since. He maintains board certification in Family Medicine. Outside the clinic, he coaches football at Santiam Christian High School and spends his free time with family. He feels a strong responsibility to make a positive impact on Albany, particularly for the next generation of young people.
