Dr. Katie Moore grew up in Northwest Mississippi and traced her calling to medicine back to a high school biology course at age 14. Her teacher, Mr. Bob Dees, encouraged her to pursue the field, and she never looked back. She graduated as valedictorian from high school, earned her first diploma with top honors from Delta State University, and ranked in the top 25% of her class at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. The Gold Humanism Honor Society recognized her for both academic achievement and commitment to compassionate care. She completed her family medicine residency at St. Vincent's East Family Medicine in Birmingham, where she also found space to incorporate her faith into patient care.
5 years building her practice at Trinity Family Medicine in Liberty Park before founding Cahaba Concierge Medicine in July 2021. She has earned a place on B-Metro's Top Women in Medicine list every year from 2015 to the present. She brings particular warmth to whole-family care, welcoming patients from infancy through their senior years. Outside the clinic, she lives in Mountain Brook with her husband Spencer and their three children, Collins, Elizabeth Parker, and Harrison.
