JP Valette, MD, CAQSM, grew up in Kentfield in the Bay Area before heading east for secondary school at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire. He studied neuroscience at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, where he competed as a Division III springboard diver and played ultimate frisbee. He earned his medical degree from UCSD School of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine residency there as well. He then pursued a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, where he earned his Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine.
Dr. Valette brings board-level expertise across family medicine, sports medicine, functional medicine, and preventive care.
