He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth in 1996. S. Air Force, practicing medicine across multiple countries and throughout the United States. That service earned him multiple military honors and accolades. After his military career, he worked in healthcare centers, hospitals, and rural health clinics before settling in Wichita Falls, where he has practiced for the past decade. He also held several leadership roles within the United Regional Health System. Before moving to Texas, Dr. Swanson practiced family medicine in New York, Florida, and Colorado. Outside medicine, he holds an ATP commercial pilot rating and enjoys flying, hiking, woodworking, and traveling. He and his wife, Dr. Tezaguic, spend much of their free time with their large extended family.
