Heidi Knoll, MD, is a family physician and OB provider who brings both broad clinical training and a deep commitment to academic medicine. She grew up in northeast Ohio and spent more than a decade in Providence, Rhode Island, with an adventurous detour abroad in Argentina. She completed her family medicine residency at Brown University in Providence before joining the MAHEC faculty in Asheville, where she devoted seven years to resident teaching and full-spectrum clinical practice.
Dr. Knoll joined Lantern Health in 2022 and holds delivery privileges at Mission Hospital, serving patients at the Downtown location. Her clinical interests include pediatrics, reproductive care, contraception, pregnancy care, gender-affirming care, health justice, and group medical care.
