S. in Environmental Science from the University of Florida, with minors in religious studies and natural resource ethics. While still a medical student, Dr. Krisel sat on the board of the American Holistic Medical Association and helped develop national programming. He has always been passionate about bringing care to underserved communities. He participated in international medical trips to Panama, Guatemala, and Haiti. He previously served as medical director of Three Streams Family Health Center, a clinic focused on the impoverished population of Asheville. Best of WNC 2024 named him a Gold Winner for Best Doctor.
