About

Dr. Geoff Cooper grew up just outside Philadelphia and earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2005. He finished his Family Medicine residency at the University of Nebraska in 2008. Following residency, he served on active duty as a family medicine physician in the United States Air Force, including a deployment to Kyrgyzstan in 2010.

Dr. Cooper also served as an adjunct professor of Family Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, training the next generation of family medicine residents. He holds board certification in Family Medicine and is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Family Physicians. After completing his military service, he relocated to Lexington in 2015. Outside the clinic, he enjoys running, cycling, and golf, and spends his free time with his wife, two children, and dog Toby.
