Dr. Daniel Swartz earned his Bachelor of Individualized Studies in Biology, Chemistry, and Kinesiology summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota in 1996. He went on to graduate summa cum laude from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 2002 and completed his Family Medicine residency at Mercy Medical Center in Mason City, Iowa. Dr. Swartz holds board certification in Family Medicine and maintains active medical licenses in Virginia and Minnesota.
After residency, he spent more than a decade in full-scope family medicine with Olmsted Medical Center in Rochester, Minnesota. He later joined Mayo Clinic as a consultant and instructor in the Mayo Clinic Medical School.
