Dr. Crystal Lantz-DeGeorge grew up in Tiffin, Ohio with a childhood dream of becoming a physician. She earned her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University in 2006, then graduated in 2010 from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in the top 5% of her class. She earned membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her internal medicine residency at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and was selected as Chief Resident in 2013.
After her chief resident year, Dr. Lantz-DeGeorge spent nearly a decade in general internal medicine practice in South Euclid, Ohio. During that period, she also served as medical director of Judson Park skilled nursing facility and as associate program director of the internal medicine residency at UH main campus. She holds board certification in obesity medicine and brings a decade of experience prescribing weight loss medications.
