Dr. Christina Highley grew up in Northwest Oklahoma City and has built her career close to home. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Oklahoma, graduating with Outstanding Graduating Senior honors. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine from OU Health Sciences Center and completed her Family Medicine internship and residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in Monroe, Louisiana. She also holds a Certificate in Public Health from OU. The American Board of Family Medicine board-certified her in 2017.
For nearly eight years, Dr. Highley worked as a Family Medicine physician and Medical Director at a local hospital outpatient clinic in Norman. She oversaw three nurse practitioners and provided primary care to patients across all age groups. The Gold Humanism Honor Society recognized her for her commitment to compassionate medicine. She holds active memberships in the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Oklahoma State Medical Association.
