About

Jay Vinnedge, MD grew up in Mustang, Oklahoma, graduating from Mustang High School in 2008. Shortly after graduation, he joined the Oklahoma Air National Guard. He trained as a USAF flight medic and deployed across the globe, caring for patients aboard aircraft. That experience shaped his belief that high-quality care should reach every patient, regardless of setting.

Dr. Vinnedge earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with highest honors from the University of Oklahoma in 2015. He went on to earn his MD from the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine in 2019 and completed his Family Medicine residency that same year. He continues to serve as a Flight Surgeon with the military and maintains acute care skills by working at local hospitals. Board-certified in Family Medicine, he treats a wide range of conditions including diabetes, thyroid disorders, heart disease, mental health conditions, respiratory illness, and musculoskeletal injuries. He is passionate about LGBTQIA+ care, gender-affirming medicine, and making primary care accessible to all. Nationally recognized as an outspoken physician, he also builds his public health platform through his social media brand, The Well-Rounded Physician. Outside the clinic, he enjoys karaoke, music, gardening, and golf. He met his wife and co-founder Danielle in the Mustang marching band in 2007, and the two share a deep commitment to reimagining how primary care works.
