Dr. Bridget Gruender founded Liberty Family Medicine in Columbia, Missouri in July 2016. She grew up in southeast Missouri and has called Columbia home for most of her adult life. She earned her medical degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed her residency in the Cox Family Medicine Residency Program in Springfield, Missouri.
Dr. Gruender chose family medicine for the deep relationships it builds across entire families. She treats patients of all ages and enjoys performing minor procedures in addition to managing chronic conditions. She serves on the board of directors for the Voluntary Action Center and participates in community wellness events. She and her husband Jason, the practice's Healthcare Advisor, share a commitment to both the clinic and the Columbia community.
