He then completed his Doctorate of Medicine at St. George's University in Grenada, British West Indies in 1981. Dr. Adler completed his internship and first residency in Internal Medicine at Greater Baltimore Medical Center. He finished his second Internal Medicine residency at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY in 1984. He holds board certifications from both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Adler has practiced medicine in Myrtle Beach for 40 years. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Medical Association, the South Carolina Medical Society, and the Horry County Medical Society.
