Dr. Angela O'Neil earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and built much of her career at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where she practiced for over 20 years. At Mayo Medical School, she served as both Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean, earning numerous teaching and service awards from patients, students, and colleagues. She holds board certifications in Family Medicine through ABFM and in Integrative Medicine through ABOIM, and she is also an Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner.

Dr. O'Neil completed her fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine under Dr. Andrew Weil and her fellowship training in ADD/ADHD with Dr. James Greenblatt. D. Her advanced herbal medicine training comes from Dr. Tieraona Low Dog.
