Dr. Abby Abisogun is a board-certified endocrinologist and the founder of Shoreline Endocrinology in Savannah, Georgia. Born in Liberia, West Africa, she immigrated to the United States as a young child and grew up outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She completed her undergraduate studies at Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland, then spent a postbaccalaureate year conducting research at the National Institutes of Health. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Camden, New Jersey.

Dr. Abisogun completed her internal medicine residency at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, where her interest in endocrinology took shape. She went on to fellowship training in the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Nutrition at Duke University School of Medicine, where she developed a focused expertise in thyroid ultrasound and biopsy. During that fellowship, she earned the AACE Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasound (ECNU). She holds Diplomate status from the American Board of Internal Medicine in both internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. She is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology and the Endocrine Society. Her clinical passions include all forms of diabetes, thyroid cancer and nodule management, women's hormonal health, PCOS, perimenopause, and metabolic health. She believes that listening carefully to patients is fundamental to effective care, and she approaches each patient relationship as a true collaboration toward a shared health goal. Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and time at the beach with her husband and two daughters.
