About

At We The People Health and Wellness Center, two physicians bring a combined philosophy of patient-first medicine to the Venice and Sarasota communities. Veteran and founder Vic Mellor built the practice around a simple conviction: every person deserves the dignity of making their own healthcare decisions. Dr. Michelle Scott and Dr. Joseph Chirillo deliver that vision daily through a direct primary care model that answers to patients alone. The practice covers a wide clinical range. Adult and pediatric primary care form the core, with pediatric memberships available from newborns through age 18. Beyond primary care, the team offers medical weight loss using locally compounded Tirzepatide and Semaglutide, IV therapy, ozone therapy, EBOO, TruDose PRP platelet therapy, peptide therapy, NAD+ infusion, red light therapy, sexual health treatments, and the HOCATT Ozone Steam Sauna. The practice also supports patients navigating COVID-19 recovery, long-haul COVID, and vaccine injury. Non-members can book acute visits by appointment for a flat fee of $250. Employers can access DPC plans with transparent pricing and no copays.
