Adult membership at Waves Family Health costs $75 per month. Children under 18 pay $30 per month when enrolled with an adult member. Waves Family Health charges no enrollment fee and requires no contract, so members can cancel at any time without penalty.

Members receive unrestricted access to Dr. Winterton by phone call, text, email, or same-day office visit. The membership also includes virtual care, on-site lab services, discounted prescriptions stocked in the office at wholesale cost, and full price transparency on medications, lab work, and imaging. Dr. Winterton personally works with local labs and imaging centers to find the lowest cash prices for members.

Yes. Non-members can schedule a one-time office visit for $250, which Waves Family Health applies toward a membership if you decide to join. Non-members can also book a pre-operative exam for $99 or a school physical for $49. Same-day appointments, however, are available for members only.

No. Waves Family Health operates outside of insurance billing. Members pay Dr. Winterton directly each month. The practice works well alongside catastrophic plans, high-deductible plans, PPO plans, and health cost-sharing organizations.

Yes. Dr. Winterton offers virtual visits by video chat in addition to in-person appointments. Members can also reach him directly by phone, text, or email for questions and urgent concerns at any time.

Yes. Dr. Winterton makes house calls for situations that warrant them. Members have used this service for after-hours urgent needs, including wound care that might otherwise require an emergency room visit.

Waves Family Health sees patients of all ages. Dr. Winterton cares for newborns, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. His board certification in Family Medicine and his background in newborn delivery and pediatric care make him well-suited to serve entire families under one membership.

Yes. Waves Family Health offers a DPC benefit program for employers. Businesses can provide their employees with direct primary care memberships, which reduces emergency room and urgent care visits and supports employee health and productivity. Family plans are available for employees' dependents as well.

You can schedule a free meet-and-greet with Dr. Winterton to determine whether the practice fits your needs. If you decide to join, enrollment happens online through the Hint Health platform with no contracts and no enrollment fees. New patients complete a new patient appointment after joining.
