Dr. Seth WintertonMD

Family Medicine

at Waves Family Health — Oviedo, FL

About

Dr. Seth Winterton earned his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine residency at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah. After residency, he moved to a small rural town in Iowa to practice full-spectrum family medicine. There, he cared for hospitalized patients, delivered babies, managed newborn care, and worked frequently in the Emergency Department. That breadth of experience sharpened his ability to recognize problems and respond to them quickly.

Dr. Winterton holds board certification in Family Medicine and welcomes patients of all ages, from newborns to older adults. Years of delivering babies and caring for newborns sparked a genuine fondness for pediatrics. He also brings strong knowledge in geriatric care. He believes that listening carefully to patients builds the trust that makes meaningful medical relationships possible. Outside the clinic, he is a husband to Stephanie and a father to four boys. He enjoys weightlifting, wakeboarding, wake surfing, hunting, fishing, and riding dirt bikes, and he serves as a spiritual leader at his local church.
