About
At Total Access Medical, seven physicians deliver primary and integrative care across the greater Philadelphia, Delaware, and Southern New Jersey region. Richard Stamps co-founded the practice in 2002 alongside Dr. Robert Weiss, who became its first physician. That founding grew from a personal experience: Stamps' first child was born with a rare metabolic disorder and spent six months in the hospital. Through that ordeal, Stamps and Dr. Weiss identified fundamental problems in how the healthcare system rewards volume over relationship. They built Total Access Medical around a different model.
Today, each TAM physician caps their panel at 600 patients and reserves 30 minutes per appointment. Doctors call patients directly to stay ahead of preventive milestones, not just respond to illness. The practice spans family medicine, internal medicine, geriatric care, functional medicine, osteopathic medicine, and integrative specialties including BHRT, IV nutrient therapy, and longevity medicine. Members receive an annual comprehensive executive physical, same-day and next-day access, telehealth visits, home visits, and direct physician contact by personal cell and email. The Total Wellness Network adds up to six free nutrition counseling sessions, personal training access, and a physician-recommended supplement resource.
