About
At The Melusi Center for Hope and Healing, Dr. Terri Litty guides patients through a deeply personalized path to wellness. The practice takes its name from the South African Zulu word for shepherd. That name reflects its core purpose: guiding each patient through their unique wellness journey.
Dr. Litty built the center around a Christ-centered philosophy that addresses spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial health together. She applies the Melusi Method, which stands for Making Effective Lifestyle recommendations Understandable and Specific to the Individual. The center offers functional and lifestyle medicine, neurofeedback training, mind-body counseling, weight management, health coaching, and personal training. DNA and microbiome testing form the foundation of every personalized care plan. Patients begin with a free discovery call, then move through a structured four-step intake process. Three membership tiers, Seed, Vine, and Tree, allow patients to choose the level of ongoing support that fits their needs.

Frequently Asked Questions
New patients start with a free 15 to 30 minute discovery call with a team member. If both parties decide to move forward, the next step is a 90-minute Initial Comprehensive Intake with Dr. Litty. That visit covers health history, previous labs, physical evaluation, and diagnostic testing including DNA and microbiome analysis. A follow-up Diagnostic Review visit then reveals findings and establishes a personalized care plan.
The Melusi Center offers three membership tiers. The Seed membership costs $150 per month, the Vine membership costs $200 per month, and the Tree membership costs $250 per month. Each tier includes a set number of 45-minute physician visits per year, sick visit access, and health coaching sessions. Membership also includes discounts on personal training and health coaching, as well as reduced pricing through the Fullscript supplement dispensary.
The Melusi Center operates as a hybrid practice and does not bill insurance for membership fees or most services. Diagnostic lab testing may have some insurance coverage, and the practice works to reduce out-of-pocket costs where possible. The practice encourages patients to maintain a separate primary care provider for routine preventive services such as pap smears and acute illness testing.
Yes. The Melusi Center offers telemedicine appointments. Mental health counseling and certain follow-up visits are available virtually by appointment, giving patients flexible access to care.
Yes. The weight management program integrates DNA testing, microbiome analysis, and lifestyle factors to build a personalized plan. It includes bi-weekly health coaching visits, monthly physician reassessments, and access to personal training and group exercise classes. The program does not prescribe weight loss medication. The focus is on safe, sustainable results.
Neurofeedback is a brain training program that uses EEG technology to provide real-time feedback to the brain, supporting self-organization and optimal function. The Melusi Center offers neurofeedback sessions in the office and also rents home units for convenient at-home training. It supports sleep, stress reduction, focus, and conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autoimmune disorders.
Yes. Patients who prefer not to join a membership can access care on a fee-for-service basis. Mental health counseling runs $150 for a 60-minute session.

Yes. The Melusi Center warmly welcomes patients transferring from The Logan Institute. Transfer patients receive a $25 per month discount on any membership tier. The practice does not offer IV therapy, peptide therapy, ozone treatments, or PRF procedures, so patients currently receiving those services should complete that care at The Logan Institute before transferring.
