Yes. SOAR Family Medicine has opted out of Medicare billing, but Medicare patients can still join and access all membership benefits. You can continue using Medicare for specialist care, hospital visits, and services outside the practice.

Members receive unlimited office visits with no copays, same-day or next-day appointments for urgent needs, and direct access to Dr. Querns by call, text, or email. The membership also covers in-office procedures such as stitches, skin lesion removal, and EKGs, as well as discounted wholesale pricing on labs, medications, and imaging.

SOAR Family Medicine sees patients within 24 to 48 hours for urgent needs. Routine visits offer a choice between 30 and 60-minute appointments, and the practice sees patients at their scheduled appointment time.

Yes. Dr. Querns offers video and phone visits in addition to in-person appointments. Members can reach her directly by call, text, or email depending on the nature of their need.

As of May 2026, SOAR Family Medicine operates on a waitlist. You can complete the enrollment form through the Atlas MD platform to secure your place in line. The practice reviews availability each month and contacts waitlisted patients when a spot opens. Completing the form does not guarantee immediate enrollment, and billing only begins after a confirmed establish visit.

Memberships at SOAR are month-to-month with no long-term contract. The practice asks for 30 days notice before cancellation. Coverage continues for 30 days after discontinuation, and the practice cannot issue prescriptions that extend beyond that period. If you leave and later choose to return, the enrollment fee applies again before restarting.
