The Annual Enrollment Fee funds the concierge program and allows Dr. McCaskill to reduce her patient panel significantly. Commercial insurance plans and Medicare do not cover this fee. It cannot be applied to your insurance deductible or office visit co-pays. However, if your employer offers a Flex Plan (Section 125) or a Health Savings Account, you may be able to use those pre-tax dollars for reimbursement. Dr. McCaskill recommends consulting your employer or tax advisor for details.

Yes. The concierge program works alongside your existing health insurance, not in place of it. Dr. McCaskill bills your insurance for office visits, and you remain responsible for your co-pays and deductibles. You continue to use your insurance for specialist visits, lab work, radiology, and hospital services.

Yes. Dr. McCaskill welcomes Medicare patients. If Medicare serves as your primary insurer, you must maintain that coverage. The enrollment fee covers services Medicare does not reimburse. Dr. McCaskill bills Medicare at her usual rate for office visits, and you continue to use Medicare for specialists, hospital care, lab, and radiology services.

Dr. McCaskill typically offers same-day or next-day appointments. Visits are longer and unhurried, with little to no wait time when you arrive. Direct access by phone and email means you can also reach her after hours and on weekends for urgent questions.

Once you complete enrollment and submit your signed agreement and payment, you receive a welcome letter with Dr. McCaskill's direct cell phone number and email address. The practice also uses NextMD, a secure web-based portal for appointment requests, prescription refills, test results, and referrals.

Dr. McCaskill completes forms for medication authorization, diagnostic test authorization, disability, travel, home health, medical equipment, and facility entrance. She handles all of these at no additional charge as part of the concierge program.

Yes. Dr. McCaskill coordinates and expedites specialist referrals directly. She communicates with other healthcare professionals involved in your care and advocates on your behalf throughout the process. If you require inpatient hospital care, she works directly with your hospital team.

Yes. Dr. McCaskill currently accepts a limited number of new patients into the practice. Prospective patients can call the office to learn more about enrollment and schedule an introductory appointment.

Dr. McCaskill emphasizes that prevention and early disease detection are the foundation of long-term health. Even patients in excellent health benefit from having a physician who knows them well over time. Investing in a consistent primary care relationship supports healthy aging and helps address problems early, before they become serious.

The program covers internal medicine, preventive care, wellness planning, cancer screening, chronic disease management, specialist coordination, and care coordination. Dr. McCaskill also handles medication and diagnostic test authorizations and administrative forms. Patients have direct access to her by phone and email, including after hours.
