Membership fees depend on your child's age. Babies and toddlers ages 0 to 2 pay $225 per month. Children ages 3 to 15 pay $150 per month. Young adults ages 16 to 26 pay $115 per month. Families never pay more than $750 per month total, no matter how many children enroll. Each child also pays a one-time registration fee of $249, capped at $750 for families.

No. Radiance Pediatrics does not bill insurance for visits, routine care, or membership. Families may still use insurance for vaccines or for care outside the practice, such as hospital stays or specialist visits. The practice recommends keeping a separate insurance plan for emergencies and hospital care.

Starting January 2026, the practice accepts HSA funds toward part of your monthly membership. The HSA-eligible amount is $150 per person or $300 per family each month. You should confirm current HSA guidelines with your plan administrator.

Every membership tier includes unlimited visits, same- or next-day sick visits, direct access to Dr. McDonald, vision and hearing screenings, minor procedures such as stitches and splinter removal, and testing for COVID, Flu, and Strep. Members can connect in person, by video, or by text through the Spruce Health app. After hours and on weekends, families can text or call Dr. McDonald directly for illness or injury.

Yes. Dr. McDonald makes house calls within 20 miles of the Redbird location on West Camp Wisdom Road. House calls run Monday, Tuesday, Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Thursday from 9 AM to 6 PM. Families outside the service area can schedule in-office visits at Urban Family Co-op on Main Street.

Yes. Radiance Pediatrics accepts prenatal enrollments. You can choose a future membership start date and use a placeholder name until your baby arrives. Note that the practice requires newborns to receive the Vitamin K shot at birth or shortly after as a condition of enrollment.

Yes. Dr. McDonald conducts secure video visits through the Spruce Health app. Virtual-only hours run every Wednesday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Text-based care is also available daily for quick questions, photo check-ins, and follow-ups.

Radiance Pediatrics serves patients from newborn through age 26. The practice handles well-baby visits and newborn care at one end and adolescent medicine, college physicals, and young adult preventive care at the other end.

No. Radiance Pediatrics does not offer one-time sick visits outside of membership. All care takes place within the membership model.

Start by booking a 15- to 30-minute phone meet-and-greet with Angie, the Patient Success Coordinator. Complete the intake questionnaire before the call. After the call, the practice sends an enrollment invitation by email. You then enter billing details, choose a start date, and select monthly or annual payment. Once enrolled, you download the Spruce app and schedule your first visit.
