About
At Park Avenue Medical Concierge, Dr. Sandra Gelbard has built Manhattan's first and longest-running concierge internal medicine practice. She founded it in 2006 after leaving her academic post at Lenox Hill/NYU Langone Medical Center. Her guiding principle: longevity through prevention.
Dr. Gelbard believes chronic inflammation underlies every major disease, including cancer, dementia, cardiovascular disease, and stroke. She pioneered a proprietary Inflammation Score, using a comprehensive panel of biomarkers to measure systemic inflammation annually. Each patient receives an individualized score to guide a targeted health strategy. Her services span hormone evaluation, advanced body composition analysis, cardiac and vascular screening, genetic testing, cancer screening, and full body MRI. She also developed LEAP Vitamins, a medical-grade supplement line customized to each patient's lab results. Membership requires a referral from a physician known to the practice or from a current member.
