At Palos Verdes Medical Group, two physicians deliver family medicine, allergy, asthma and immunology, and pediatric care from a single location in Rolling Hills Estates. Dr. Lawrence Sher opened his Palos Verdes practice in the late 1980s and formally established Palos Verdes Medical Group in 1992. Dr. Nadra Saad joined the practice in 1995 and has built a career spanning more than 25 years there. The practice operates as a hybrid model, offering patients the option of an enhanced concierge tier starting January 2025. Research runs deep at PVMG. Dr. Sher founded Peninsula Research Associates in 1999, a clinical trials institute operating next door to the medical office. Together, the physicians have conducted over 200 clinical research trials and authored numerous medical papers. PVMG served as one of 11 national sites for the Sanofi-GSK COVID-19 vaccine Phase 1/2 trial and set up one of the South Bay's first drive-up COVID-19 test centers, administering over 10,000 tests. The practice covers a wide clinical range, including oral immunotherapy for food allergies, ADHD evaluation and management, weight management with medications such as Wegovy and Zepbound, aesthetics, sports physicals, and concussion management. A physician stays on call 24/7 for after-hours needs.
