Patients must meet the Medicare definition of homebound to qualify. This includes patients whose illness or injury makes leaving home a considerable effort, those who require a walker, wheelchair, or special transportation, and those with dementia or other conditions requiring another person's assistance to travel. OC Housecalls accepts private Medicare, most PPOs, hospice, and private pay.

Most PPO plans cover 100% of a house call visit. Medicare covers 80%, leaving patients or their secondary PPO insurance responsible for the remaining 20%. Applicable deductibles and co-pays may also apply.

Without insurance, OC Housecalls charges between $150 and $350 per visit. The exact cost depends on the complexity of the visit and whether the patient is new or established. Dr. Adrig also accepts private payment directly.

Dr. Adrig carries portable diagnostic equipment to every visit. She performs blood tests, EKGs, X-rays, ultrasounds, and echocardiograms within the home. This allows her to assess and manage most conditions without requiring a separate facility visit.

The OC Housecalls concierge program gives members direct email and text communication with Dr. Adrig, focused visits, and more flexible appointment scheduling. Annual memberships start at $3,500 per year. A second adult in the same family pays $2,500 per year. Rates may vary based on individual patient needs. Members also carry a PPO or Medicare policy, which OC Housecalls bills for medical visits.

Yes. Dr. Adrig coordinates regularly with your existing specialists and manages the care they prescribe. She takes on the role of primary care physician while keeping your specialist relationships intact.

Dr. Adrig holds staff privileges at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach and Irvine. For hospital admissions, she works with Pacific Hospitalists Associates, a hospitalist group at Hoag Hospital. She stays in close contact with the PHA team throughout any hospital stay.

OC Housecalls serves a wide range of Orange County communities, including Irvine, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Tustin, Yorba Linda, Mission Viejo, Fountain Valley, Anaheim Hills, and surrounding areas. Dr. Adrig visits patients in private residences, Board and Care facilities, and Assisted Living Facilities throughout her service area.

Yes. Dr. Adrig provides end-of-life care and coordinates with home health and hospice agencies. She manages this process directly and maintains relationships with numerous hospice providers across Orange County.
