The practice operates through the MDVIP program, which requires an annual membership fee for primary care services. That fee covers the extensive MDVIP Annual Wellness Exam, laboratory tests, nutrition and exercise counseling, and preventive health maintenance. Members also receive same-day or next-day appointment access and Dr. Babe's personal cell phone number for after-hours contact.

The exam takes place over two visits. The first visit, conducted with RN Sara, includes body composition analysis, EKG, lung function assessment, strength testing, hearing evaluation, and cardiovascular risk assessment with fasting blood work. About two weeks later, Dr. Babe conducts the second visit, which covers a complete physical exam, full health review, and a personalized wellness plan.

The practice works with Medicare and all major local insurance providers in the Ann Arbor area. Insurance does not cover the annual MDVIP membership fee, which patients pay directly. The practice sends lab work to Quest, Michigan Medicine, or Trinity/St. Joseph based on patient preference and insurance requirements.

Yes. Dr. Babe offers telehealth appointments for members of the practice. During a virtual visit, she reviews your current health concerns and may ask you to check weight and blood pressure using home devices. Telehealth works well for many non-emergency concerns and adds a convenient option alongside in-office visits.

No. Aesthetic services at the practice do not require a membership. Non-members can schedule treatments including Lumecca Peak IPL, Fusion Light and Fusion Dark laser hair removal, Morpheus8 Burst, and Alma TED™ Hair Restoration. The practice offers free consultations to help determine which treatment fits your needs.

The practice is currently full and maintains a waitlist for new primary care members. Prospective patients can contact the office to join the waitlist. Aesthetic services remain open to new patients regardless of membership availability.
