Insurance covers most home and telemedicine visit costs, though your plan may require a co-payment or deductible. The practice does not accept Medicaid-only plans. Private pay rates are available for patients without covered insurance.

The Second Look Record Review and Care Plan Consult is a separate, out-of-pocket service. The practice bills it hourly with a $1,000 minimum. Insurance does not cover this service. It is entirely independent from the home-based primary care practice.

Visit frequency depends on your medical needs. Most patients receive a monthly in-person visit from Dr. Wallace. Patients with less complex conditions may need visits only every two to three months. The practice tailors scheduling to each patient's clinical situation.

Yes. Patients can reach Dr. Wallace 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by calling or texting 215-930-6630. m. m. The practice responds to after-hours calls and texts as quickly as possible.

Every medical visit at Insight Home Physicians involves Dr. Wallace directly. The practice does not use nurse practitioners or physician assistants to deliver medical care. Patients see the same board-certified physician at every visit.

Yes. Dr. Wallace brings a Butterfly iQ handheld ultrasound device to every in-person visit. He performs and interprets the study on the spot, with no need for the patient to travel to a radiology department. The practice includes this service at no additional cost to the patient.

Yes. The practice serves residents of assisted and independent living facilities. Dr. Wallace does not see nursing home residents, but he does provide transitional and primary care after patients discharge from a nursing home to a residential setting. The practice also accepts direct referrals from home care agencies and hospital or nursing home discharge coordinators.

No. Patients with limited mobility benefit most from home-based primary care, but the practice also accepts patients with complex medical conditions who are not strictly homebound. The practice currently enrolls both short-term transitional care patients and long-term primary care patients.

Yes. The practice conducts telemedicine visits via two-way video using a smartphone or tablet. Staff provide one-on-one setup support for patients new to video visits. Telemedicine works well for urgent new complaints and ongoing management of chronic conditions. The vast majority of visits, however, take place in person.
