Galen Wellness

Monthly membership at Galen Wellness runs $145 per month for adults ages 30 to 64. Adults ages 18 to 29 pay $95 per month, and those 65 and older pay $175. A one-time enrollment fee of $500 covers an initial comprehensive lab evaluation and a History and Physical appointment that typically runs two to four hours. Couples receive a 10 percent discount.

The membership covers all visits with no copays or surprise bills. Members get unlimited direct access to Dr. Nemero by text, phone, or patient portal. Same-day and next-day visits, extended appointments, care coordination with specialists, and cash-pay discounts on labs and radiology are all included. Weight loss management and hormone replacement therapy are also covered at no additional cost.

Galen Wellness operates outside of insurance billing for membership fees. The practice does not bill insurance for membership costs. Members do receive cash-pay discounts on lab work and radiology, which can offset out-of-pocket costs. Galen Wellness cannot accept Medicare patients at this time.

Yes. Same-day and next-day visits are standard membership benefits. Members also receive extended appointment times so Dr. Nemero can address all of their concerns in a single visit.

Yes. Galen Wellness offers house calls for members who prefer care at home. Dr. Nemero sees patients at the Downtown Lee's Summit office at 9 SE 3rd Street, and he also travels to patients when needed.

The initial History and Physical appointment runs two to four hours. Dr. Nemero reviews your past medical history, surgical history, current medications, allergies, and active treatment plans. He provides a written summary that you can share with other providers. Patients who want a deeper evaluation can add genetic testing during intake for an additional fee.

Galen Wellness offers two advanced cancer screening options. Whole-body MRI provides non-invasive imaging for select patients after a consultation. The Galleri multi-cancer early detection blood test screens for signals associated with more than 50 cancer types, including many that lack routine screening options. Dr. Nemero works with each patient to determine whether these tools fit their personal risk profile.

Yes. The 3X4 Genetics panel evaluates 157 genes and more than 170 genetic variants related to metabolism, nutrition, and cardiovascular health. Dr. Nemero also offers GeneSight pharmacogenomic testing to support psychiatric medication decisions. Patients can request genetic testing at intake for an additional fee, and those results belong to the patient permanently.

Galen Wellness cannot accept Medicare patients at this time. Adults 65 and older who do not carry Medicare coverage may enroll at the $175 monthly rate.
