Freedom Pediatrics

Monthly fees vary by age. Infants from birth through 24 months pay $175 per month. Children ages 25 through 59 months pay $140 per month. Patients ages 60 months through 24 years pay $115 per month. Families of three or more children receive a discount, and families who pay annually save 10%. A one-time enrollment fee of $100 per child applies, with a $150 maximum per family.

Freedom Pediatrics does not bill or accept any insurance plans. Members pay a monthly fee for direct access to Dr. White. The practice can provide documentation to help families seek out-of-network reimbursement from their insurer, though reimbursement varies by plan. Freedom Pediatrics strongly encourages members to maintain separate health insurance for hospital care, specialist visits, labs, and medications.

Freedom Pediatrics offers same-day or next-day sick appointments for members. Members also reach Dr. White directly by text, phone, email, or telemedicine for urgent questions. After-hours contact is available for pressing concerns.

Appointments run 30 to 60 minutes. Dr. White keeps visits unhurried so families have time to ask questions and address all concerns thoroughly. There are no copays and no waiting rooms.

Membership covers all well visits, unlimited sick visits, chronic condition management, asthma and allergy care, anxiety and depression evaluation, ADD/ADHD evaluation, behavior and development guidance, sleep and nutrition guidance, adolescent healthcare, school and sports physicals, basic in-office tests like strep and urinalysis, basic procedures including stitches and nebulizer treatments, and care coordination with specialists. Dr. White also negotiates discounted rates at local labs and imaging centers on behalf of members.

Yes to both. Dr. White offers telemedicine visits as part of the membership. She also makes home visits for an additional fee of $100 when the home falls within 15 minutes of the office.

Yes. Freedom Pediatrics requires a three-month commitment for new patients. Members who wish to cancel must provide 30 days of written notice. Families who cancel and later wish to return may pay a re-enrollment fee of $300, subject to available space.

Yes. Dr. White sees newborns at Advent Health Shawnee Mission, and that visit is included in the membership. She partners with families from birth all the way through age 24.

Families should consult their accountant about using an HSA for membership fees. It is the parent's responsibility to confirm eligibility under IRS guidelines. Freedom Pediatrics charges membership fees monthly to a bank account or credit card on file.

Membership does not cover specialist visits, urgent care, emergency room visits, hospital admissions, outside lab work, imaging, prescriptions, or vaccines. However, Dr. White negotiates reduced pricing at local labs and imaging centers to help keep those costs manageable for families.
